Guided walks for Barrington Tops 50th birthday celebrations

Barrington Tops National Park is celebrating its 50th birthday!

Join our celebrations in 2019 including events & guided tours. Enjoy walks, waterfalls & scenic drives through ancient landscapes millions of years in the making.

Carved out of ancient volcanic flows, the park rises from near sea level to 1586 metres. It protects one of the largest temperate rainforests in mainland Australia, along with a host of diverse habitats and a wide range of birds and animals.

A double celebration in 2019

Barrington Tops National Park is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, a UNESCO World Heritage Area celebrating its 25th anniversary of listing. The park boast the most extensive ares of subtropical and temperate rainforest in the world.
