Did you know there are usually 13 full moons in a year, not 12? There’s usually one per calendar month plus one more “extra” moon that appears within a calendar month. This cheeky extra lunar appearance is known as the blue moon.

And you can see it next on Easter Saturday 31 March 2018, in its awesome fullness at 11.36pm. So make a wish upon a Barrington Tops blue moon… instead of just a star.
